Dr. Yingying Ren

Guangxi University, China

Yingying Ren holds a PhD degree from Central South University and is currently the Deputy Director of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the School of Computer and Electronic Information (School of Artificial Intelligence) of Guangxi University. She is also a member of the Guangxi Enterprise Science and Technology Special Task Force, a core member of the Guangxi Key Laboratory, and an assessor for AI engineering technicians certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. She has received funding from the Guangxi Key Research and Development Program, the Guangxi Youth Science Fund, and the Guangxi Cyberspace Administration's Innovation Talent Program. During her PhD studies, she worked in Professor Liu Anfeng's research group at Central South University. Simultaneously, during her PhD studies, she participated in overseas academic exchange programs with Professor Song Houbing (IIEE Fellow) at UMBC in the United States and Professor Zhang Ning at the University of Windsor in Canada. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, deep reinforcement learning, and UAV path planning. She has led and participated in several national and provincial-level research projects.
